I have come to this salon a few times over the years and have usually dealt with a friendly man who always did a great job. Today, I felt extremely upset and confused with service I received (after also being treated very rudely in a salon round the corner in the morning). I have been going to this salon for around 5 years, and have previously had a great experience. Today, a girl with blue hair was doing my nails. When I asked for certain modifications to my nails, each time I was met with her rolling her eyes. I tried to communicate the best I could, politely, as the eye rolling was making me feel uncomfortable. After seeing positive reviews I booked a pedicure at V.L.V. I left very disappointed. Different staff members seem to provide very different levels of service. The person doing my pedicure rushed it and only did a cursory scrub and no hard skin filing at all. Meanwhile, the lady sat next to me having the same treatment by a different staff member was given a much more thorough scrub and filing. I ended up with visible patches of dry skin left on my heels and big toes and smudged polish on a couple of toes. I do not recommend... read more

Brilliant service, just walked in and sorted my nails straight away and did a brilliant job
