I can't select 0 stars, lets start there. I was taken in by in-take at 8:14am. I told them that I had pain on the right side, lower stomach basically to the bottom of my knee, which I have had for over 5 years now. My fiancé was just in there in severe pain! So much in fact she was hysterically crying! She has been treated at this hospital before. She was treated no better than a second class citizen! I feel like she was profiled based on her appearance! What are you people doing?! I thought DR's had an oath to the patients they serve! My husband had never been in a hospital before and his experience with VM was way above expectations. Only had one "snarky" nurse but all other staff very good. Food was better than expected and was always hot. Rooms are very nice and spacious with huge Windows for lots of light. Good daybeds for family members to stay over if they want. Great care all around.

I've been going to Virgins Mason since 1999 and the nurses, doctors, schedulers, maintenance people are exceptionally nice. My wlfe is 77 and I'm 80 and they've been nursing us along for 17 or 18 yrs, and we are, not planning, to leave in the next, 17 years. Maybe??? Ever meet someone who restores your faith in their whole profession. This AM MD Nancy with Virginia Mason's Bellevue facility worked miracles. When we started she didn't have records from imaging done in June so she put her staff to work double time trying to make up for everything that fell through the cracks with my health since until she had everything. Where other MD's only suggestion was to remove organs she suggested a growth removal that keeps the organ in tact. She even sent her staff out to locate my son who was in ... read more

On July 21, I had a heart attack symptom that's fairly common, if atypical for women (jaw and left arm pain) in the early morning, so I decided I needed to get checked out. I spent 8+ hours at Virginia Mason for tests, constant blood draws, evaluations, X-rays, and more and came through with flying colors. I had a day surgery and everyone from the moment we got there, including the Buck parking employees were wonderful! I was extremely scared of my procdure, Almost all employees from the parking garage to everyone in the hospital were friendly and helpful and made eye contact with me ,making me feel welcome and we'll taken care of!
