We stayed here and booked Viewfield and Farriers for a total of 16 people for our Wedding at Alnwick Gardens. It was close enough to Alnwick so that it was easy to get to the venue but also had the peaceful countryside feel we wanted. We split groomsmen and bridesmaid into separate cottages for the morning which worked perfectly! The cottages themselves were fully equipped, spacious and were both finished to an excellent standard. This place fitted our family needs for the trip perfectly, but the actual property, as per other reviews is in need of some TLC… the location, the field and kids playground are awesome. Having the pool onsite was also a win for those drizzly days, if a little cool even in the summer. We rented cedar cottage which we have no complaints about, but some small things could be improved in the farmhouse. Very nice cottages we booked a three cottages for my brother in laws 40th birthday. It was great , you get free entry to the sona, steam room, and the swimming pool. It's very clean . Lovely walk around the village area. Pubs and shops are about 5 minutes away from the cottages. We will be booking with thrm again.
