One of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time!
Victor Cafe is a true gem for Philly...been in business for 100 years and the food is fantastic...the experience is even better!!...every waiter or waitress is an opera singer and the stop everything about every 15 minutes or so to sing an operatic tune...it's wonderful!!...Rick the owner is a cool dude and we go to Victor Cafe everytime we are in Philly...we love it!!
We from NJ on a last minute trip with the kids and my husband picked it out. It was a little more upscale than I expected and the food was good and the opera singing waiters was great !
This was an amazing experience! Ian loved the steak. Asher couldn't finish the spaghetti and meatballs but raved about how good it was, my Dido and Aeneas was delicious! The operatic singing every twenty minutes was just as delightful as the meal and it was wonderful to hear my server, Steven, perform. Any time I come to Philadelphia, I will be back to this restaurant.
