I had a tough situation and they diligently worked through it and got it done.
Veterans United did not follow standard closing procedure. Veterans United withdrew $950.00 from my account for the appraisal without my authorization before we had the home inspection. When the home inspection failed miserably and I terminated the deal. Veterans United refused to reimburse me for cost of the appraisal. They did however offer to cover the cost of another appraisal on a different house, providing I continue to use them as my lender. My entire Veterans United Loan team was such a pleasure to work with, every individual was always on top of things. There wasn';t a moment were I felt my Loan team wasn't getting the job done. All documentation requests were followed through with the listing agent. Even the communication between my agent and Loan team was flawless. Everyone was on top of it, so I could be at ease.
