I have been going to the Albuquerque VA hospital for various appointments for almost 17 years & have had excellent care. I had a biopsy done in radiology yesterday. The entire medical staff was very professional, polite & calming.
Been getting care here for years. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and dedication to the employees and support staff of the New Mexico VA Health Care System.
You need to look into increasing your staff in the ER! Appalling that my father checked into your facility and after 4+ hours of not being seen he left! Mind you he was just admitted 2 weeks ago and is still very high risk! Prioritization much?? I have been a nurse for 25 yrs and still Veterans get crap care! Absolutely disgusting! Follow up to my post yesterday I did hear from the VA this morning and apologized for the ER they are looking into the matter. I am changing it to a 2 until I hear more.
Worst care anywhere.......Delay, Deny, until they die.......thats the VA's motto....
My last visit was a dermatology follow-up, I arrived early and saw the doctor prior to my scheduled time. The doctor was very pleasant and gave me an excellent report! Prior to this I was there for some serious issues and I always received excellent care and treatment. The ABQ VA receives a 10+ from me!!
The VA Medical Center in Albuquerque is the hospital from hell. When that ER staff comes back with 'we're not like TV'... wtf, oh and my personal favorite 'I'm a vet too'... as tho that give you the right to treat vets like shit... The Albuquerque VA has had people die there and that ER did not lift a finger to help.. Now they have an ambulance service on site, probably to take fallen vets outside the VA sysrem.. My BP was 162/106 as i left AMA. why did I leave? I will not be treated like a piece of rubbish. No one should.. ... read more
