WORSE car insurance company to get in an accident with. They take ooooooorrrr ever to take full liability "to be exact 2 months" even with an attorney. Then the PI adjuster takes weeks or months to reply or return our calls. What a joke! Thinking they will handle their cases fast since they're a big insurance company but that's not the case. Their insurer driver even admitted it was his fault and it took forever to complete my case.

I have used State Farm for over 35 years. I began using Shawn Dunn in B****** a few years ago because I did not want to use the same office as my ex-husband. His office never returns phone calls. Could not get state farm to set up a tow after they said they would. The car has sat in the body shop for 3 weeks without repairs getting started because state farm claims sat on the claim without doing anything. They finally got the ball rolling a few days before the car rental expired and they blame the body shop and refuse to extend the car rental. It takes over an hour to speak to someone in claims and everyone I've spoke with has lied about getting me answers and lied about their names. What a joke state farm is.

My 90 year old mother had significant storm damage on December 15th 2021 to the roof of her house, shingles were ripped off and missing, she filed a claim with Matt Yoast of St. Farm insurance and we were told to get estimates, EVERY COMPANY I had out for an estimate said the shingles were all loose and no longer sealed down throughout the roof, we had water leak in from a dormer and the main roof damaging 2 differenl ceilings, we NEVER heard anything from state farm so I called them, They sent out an inspector and the inspe... read more
I was informed in January 2021, that my life insurance policy would increase, and if I did not renew my policy, it would be cancelled in October 2021. I spoke with a State Farm agent and stated I could not afford nor want the policy; the money was deducted without my authorization or knowledge. I contacted State Farm and was informed that I will not be reimbursed.
I have been a loyal customer of State Farm for over 10 years with the same agent. I filed my only car accident claim with them on 12/15/21. I had no worries at the time because I thought State was a great company and would treat me right. I called after hours hotline to report the accident. I had just purchased a 2019 Nissan 2 months prior. I was told I did not have collision insurance only comprehensive and could not tow my car nor could I get a rental car. My van was stolen by thieves and now by them it was before Christmas it's January 26 and still nothing their treating me like I'm the criminal what a bunch of trash my friend's house caught on fire and they screwed him also stay away from this company they will screw you over also warning
I am extremely unhappy with State farm. I am waiting over 24 hours to have a car towed.. If i was on a main road in the fridge temperature I would not be able to even tell my story. I keep getting a new company after new company.. And still no results. I am thinking about leaving the agency promptly.
I moved from N** **** to N**** ******** back in October and my bill drastically decreased in price because insurance is obviously cheaper here. in December it was transferred back to N** **** while still live in N**** ******** because of really bad information I received from them.
