Took my ill dog to VCA indio, they took my dog , and i sat in my car for 5 HOURS Waiting to hear their diagnosis of my dog. At 5 hours i finally called them (shame on me, i should have called them way sooner, but i was so worried about my dog, I figured they were actively diagnosing my dog). They indicated that my dog had been in a kennel for 5 hours and the doctor hadn’t even seen him yet (no water, food, etc) Come on guys! Refused to see my 13 year old dog suffering from huge hematoma no matter how long we waited. Horribly run with no professionalism, will be reported. Janet who supposedly is the manager should be fired after the way she spoke to me, a disabled woman looking for help for her elderly dog.

You can see why this place had a bad reputation, Left in the parking lot for 3 hours to be told what we told them in the first place,,really bad attitudes all around Watched in the parking lot as they refused to see a little dog that the owner said was having problems to breath the dog was 17 yrs old,,so I guess to old for them to worry about,,poor older lady that owns it was in tears, We will NEVER come back to this place,and will NEVER recommend it.

I called before to get some information about puting my dog to rest and Mary was so helpful and very nice . when I got there everyone was soooo helpful and very nice. everything was taken care off in a very respectfully sensitive loving way. even the doctor got froggy voice. I want to thank everyone who was involved in this process and I hope the end result is respectfully deliver. I will wait for the call to pick him up when ready. Thankfully I will be moving because there is no way I would ever go back there. The prices were typical VCA, and the doctor was fabulous. But, the staff were so obnoxious! Never again!

It’s a travesty that this our only option for emergency vet care. I had the worst possible experience here when my dog got sick over the weekend. I was quoted 4 different prices by 3 different people for keeping her overnight. I told them to cease services and picked her up, still sick. My bill was $1750 and they still didn’t have a diagnosis for her issue. I was quoted $4300 for keeping her overnight. I just had to hope she could hang on until I was able to get to her regular vet.
