I brought in a dying bird from my yard and they refused to treat it. So, they killed it. Very upset still and I have four cats and I will never bring them there!!
The Doc I saw has been here for years and years, and knows our pets well. She knows their history, their foibles, and behaviors. She's seen the worst and the best of them, and is always calm and controlled, even in the middle of a crisis. You have to love a doc like that - her calm and knowledge calms the owners, which calms the pet, which makes the whole visit a less stressful event.
My experience was great. I brought in 2 dogs. My Boston always gets attention when we go out in public, the kind nurse who checked us out went out of her way to make my older lab feel just as loved. May seem silly but it was something little that made the difference. All of the staff were kind and helpful. My vet was great. She took her time and got to know both my babies and all their little issues. The cost was comparable to other vets I’ve seen at the bigger establishments. My Bear Bear became very I'll all of a sudden and I rushed him to VCA. I had to wait a bit only becuse they had only one Vet on. Once DR Creasey saw my poor Bear Bear she let me know he was dying and the best thing I could do for him would be put him down. I and my oldest daughter was with me were devastated. The Vet was truly amazing. The problem I have is I ended up spending a totall of five hundred dollars only to not get his ashes and not bring him home.
