Great food! – I went to Valanni last night w/ a bunch of friends. The hostesses were friendly as well as the bartender and our server. I tried the Lobster and crab Mac and cheese for the first time and can't wait to get it again. I also had the grilled octopus which is delicious and the oreo beignets for dessert, it was such a great meal.
Great brunch and for drinks!! – Their brunch is great and the choices for drinks was so tempting. Staff was very friendly. I do, however, think they need to be a lot more strick on their dress code and avoid the trash that tries to walk in.
still amazing! – My girlfriends and i were at valanni last night for rest.week. we were so happy that they were offering the whole menu as opposed to 3 or 4 options. this is one of the places i miss since leaving the city. the paella and tuna are still my favorites. everyone had a great time but it does get noisy at times.definetly love the new sangria!! but miss the coconut chicken.
Not as good as we remembered – As a long time diner at Valanni I was shocked to recently go in and find a whole new staff. The new staff seems okay, but the consistency in the food leaves something to be desired. I'm a theater goer, so I used to like Valanni because it was close, but now I'm thinking of other places. The last two times I was there, I order a filet medium rare and once got it rare, and the other time got it almost well done. My partner got the tuna, and it just wasn't as he remembered. Awesome place to eat and drink – My experience at Valanni was fantastic the food is so good the staff is very friendly and the bar always has the best drinks. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a great meal and good drinks at a great price to go to Valanni..
drunken chef response – I am Evan Turney, executive chef of valanni, and I am posting a review based on the drunken chef review above. First of all, we have a manager on the floor at all times, not one manager was notified about this so called incident. Also, if this person was to get up and walk out, a manager would have to have closed this open check with the filet on it and not one manager heard a thing about this story. Baked Brie That Melts My Heart! – I am totally in love with the Baked Brie. A collection of pears and cinnamon and that oooooowy, gooooowy cheese! It's almost like cr*ck! I think those guys in the kitchen are awesome! Always coming up with new ways to draw people in with their tasty treats. Keep it comin!
Treat Yourself! – Do yourself a favor and go to Valanni. It was awesome. We started with the Rasberry Sangria - SO GOOD! We had the guacamole and the grilled romaine. The Grilled Romaine is amazing. This is a MUST HAVE! For my main course I had the special of the day, which was a salmon dish that was delicious! We didn't have room for dessert but I can only imagine that it's just as good. Great Dining Spot – Great place for tapas and sangria. The tapas menu was extensive and the sangria flavors were unusualy delicious. This is a great place if you want good drinks with a variety of food.
