Liza at Vain – Great place for a fresh and edgy look. Liza Gilbert works magic with wavy and curly hair. She creates cuts that will work with your hair and your face. Hair looks great day after day no matter what the weather.
Get Ready to look your best! – Victoria is an amazing stylist! Since I started going to Victoria, I can wear long hair and I get so many compliments on how great I look. She really knows how to layer/texturize & color my hair to bring out it's best & my best features. Half my office now goes to her and we all look fabulous. Victoria gives great advise on how to make color last longer and it all grows out so well.
rockin' good – i have been a VAIN customer for over 5 years. in that time i have gone through the "just a trim, but it has to stay in a ponytail" phase to the "cut it all off and make it pink" phase, and never once has anyone at VAIN steered me wrong. The reminder calls are crucial, the atmosphere great, and Victoria Gentry (my ever patient stylist) always has a clever way to get me to do my hair. Kristine Rocks! – I have been a customer of Kristine's for some years now. Over time, I have gone from long locks to a kicky bob to a flipped-out fringy doo and Kristine has cut my hair each and every time. Not only is she fantastic to talk to while getting trimmed, she is never shy about steering you away from potentially disastrous hairstyles that you might have thought were a good idea when you walked in the door (she does this in a very professional manner). Curly Hair – I recently got my hair colored and cut by Kristin Skubina at Vain. I love it!!!! Lots of people have stopped me on the street to tell me they love my hair. Kristin did three colors throughout and then cut it a bit asymetrical. My hair is very curly and about chin length. Waste of Money – The service at Vain is not great. The staff there think they are cooler than you, negative atmosphere. The color fades after one shampoo and for multiple colors the price is not a value. I would not recommend this salon. I used to get my hair done there, but got sick of wasting money seriously watching my color run down the drain. Also, I was told that my color cost would go down after the "initial" coloring....hmmmm.....it never did, always the same price every time!
Quite a Find – I have been thrilled with the color and cuts provided by VAIN. Strangers compliment my hair about twice a week since I starting getting it cut at VAIN over a year ago. The skill staff work with me to balance my desire for bold reds and for no roots with a budget the won't allow new color every six weeks. Receptionist are consistently pleasant, even when the phone won't stop ringing and customers arrive late for appointments on busy days.
Ramie Rules! – Ramie may be the next superstar at Vain. She's down-to-earth, easy to talk to and a genius at modifying styles to fit who you are and what you want. Ramie is also great with color, and as an added bonus, she can help update your SO's hair, too. Definitely the most fun fun I've ever had getting my hair done, and the best cut, too!
Rave About Vain! – I've been to Vain 5 times, and I've been cut, styled and colored by two different hairstylists. Each time I've been hugely impressed by the creativity, dedication, thoroughness and listening skills of the hairstylists. Jennifer Cassady is the hairstylist I've been using most recently; at least 5 of my friends go to her. She has a great eye for color, gives fabulous haircuts and gives great advice regarding how to maintain your color and use products.
