Rapunzel – Kristen S. at this salon/art studio is AMAZING!! I recently discovered Vain and had hair extensions added to my natural hair. WOW! They are wonderful and look so natural. The extensions move like silk threads, are glossy and just look fantastic!! I will never have anyone else touch my hair again. She is the best!! Jenny Slay- Beauty Angel – I fly from the Atlanta GA area to have my hair done by Jenny! WHY??? You ask. She does more than just "slay" my hair demons. She makes me look absolutely angelic!
Kristin S. Rules! – Kristin S. consistently cuts and colors my hair to perfection! She has created a simple and manageable style for my baby fine hair. She doesn't mat down or puff up my hair with products, nor does she create a style that requires blowdrying, which works well with my lifestyle. Liza Rocks! – If you have curly hair, Liza can really work wonders on your crazy locks. I have been to her twice and referred 2 girlfriends to her and she is amazing! She also has great knowledge about excellent products for your hair. My hair has never looked so cute! Yea, Liza!
Ask For Kathleen! – I have gone into vain a couple of times now and I LOVE it! I get my hair cut by Kathleen, and she is the best hairdresser I have ever ever ever had, not only because she is good at what she does, but she also is easy to talk to and awesome! She listens to exactly what I want, and if I'm not sure, she always has good ideas! I just got a cut, and it has to be the best haircut I have ever had. She textures hair really well, and gave me GREAT bangs, and it's super cheap. ASK FOR KATHLEEN, shes amazing!
Carinna Rocks!!! – If you're sick and tired of pretentious stylists, ask for Carinna. Down to earth and friendly, she was engaging, receptive, and knew how to work with my coarse hair. As a visitor to Seattle (from San Francisco), I definitely lucked out with Carinna as my stylist for a haircut that day. I came in with an overgrown "Incredible Hulk" look, which she transformed into a sleek pixie cut that complemented my round face. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and to the locals of Seattle!!!
Carly is where it's at! Visit Vain! – I had plans to meet my Sister after my hair cut a few weeks ago. I figured I would have plenty of time to pop into Vain, relax and be groovy, and leave there with a nice new look. What I didn't realize was the reaction I got from EVERYONE fallowing that day. Vain's got Vibe! – I've been going to Vain for about 2 years now. I have curly hair (read: history of terrible trims). Anyway, I go to Rachel and she is awesome. She listens when I want little changes and always does a great job! Plus, she's a blast to talk to with her killer wit. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone with curly hair.
Try Jen Cassidy – I've been several salons since I've been here and I can honestly say I will never go to anywhere else but Vain. At my first visit to vain, I was scheduled for a different stylist, but ended up with Jen. I didn't mind because I honestly didn't know what I was in for with anyone there. My cut was awesome and honestly I've had uber compliments on the street and at work. I've just recently gotten my 2nd cut from Jen, and again, AWESOME. Still getting those compliments! Anyway, see for yourself.
