heaven – The handsome Shaun Surething has been doing my hair for almost 2 years. Last week I saw they have added a massage therapist to the staff, which rules. I got a walk in appointment, and Lisa was amazing. Super reasonable rates, great massage, and just as nice & professional as could be. One stop shop!

Thanks Shane – My hair colourist of four years left to travel the world in Vancouver, BC so I decided on my weekend in Seattle to try Shane out. I love his work! He got the right colours down exactly, and I'm extremely picky when it comes to my colour. Very happy with his work and am looking forward to the next time I'm in Seattle to see him.

I found Vain and Jen C. on the internet, so I wanted to recommend her on the internet and help others out. In the past year she has helped me transition from short to long, with no awkwardness and then back to short, she is excellent at cutting all lengths of hair, and with my hair which is very straight and fine that is hard to find. ShaunSurething – Shaun has brought a new meaning to making one feel morelyouthful. He colored my tired gray hair giving it burnished red, mahogany brown and subtle plum tones. My youthful haircut set me out of Vain with a smile of contentment. I knew I looked "good". He did all of this within a friendly relaxed salon. No pretentions to "fame" here. Flattered – I was recommended by Rachel from some lady friends of mine. In all of the 15 years of getting my hair done and never feeling completely satisfied...I was amazed that Rachel did exactly what I wanted. I have never had so many complements from people. My complements to Rachel who is extremely talented.

Waxing Wendy – Vain seems like a great place. I walked by looking to get my legs waxed. Wendy was personable and was able to take me straight away. She did a great job (no puffy red calves) and the price was reasonable. Although I only had waxing done. the rest of the salon looked fun too. seems like a cool relaxed atmospere to get your hair done too.

LOVE Vain Beauty World!!!!!!!!!! – I would SO SO SO recommend Vain to anyone looking for a great place to get a great style. Everyone that works there is friendly, knowledgeable, and completely unpretentious. It is just a confortable place to hang out. I LOVE my stylist Kendall, he always does a great job - we have fun and he doesn't overcharge me. What more can I say???

Best Ever – After searching Seattle for years to find a great hair salon - I did. The people at Vain are attentive, responsive, creative, and extremely talented. I have long, difficult hair and Victoria and Jenny have done wonders with it. This place is impressive, both for the talent they employ and their community involvement.
