Highly Recommended!! – Victoria takes great care of my fuzzy hair and my friends all want to see her! Jen C does an excellent job on my husband's hair. I think that he looks extra handsome since he has been seeing her. Both are highly recommended. I adore the unique shopping in the boutique up front and they have ALL kinds of fabulous magazines :) Everyone that I have come into contact with at Vain is lovely and professional. A+ R. C.
AWESOME – Carly saved my hair! After having my hair bleached by some nitwit at a "great" salon, Carly saved my hair. I came to her with orange hair and blisters and left with beautiful beige blond... and no exorbitant "color fix" fee. ALSO.. she gave me an incredible cut that allowed me to grow my hair out past that hard stage. A++ Skill!!
I Heart Shaun Surething – So I moved to NYC and the thing I miss most about Seattle is Shaun Surething and the beautiful color he did for my hair. Now I am back to boring brown, since I cannot afford to get coloring here. He was most excellent at creating a funky look without being too punkalicious - though I like punk, my workplace does not. He was also totally kind to my hair with the bleach and didn't dry it out at all.
Shaun knows what color your hair should be. – I was reluctant to color my hair because I have had some horrible experiences with it (both at home and at the salon). Shaun Surething put me right at ease and chose a fantastic color that was tailored to compliment my skin and eye color. I've never had so many compliments on my hair. He is the absolute best in town!
Carinn knows color! – Usually when I get my hair done it costs a good $200 if I get both a highlight and a cut, however, this time I was thankful for the $140 I paid for both the fantastic color and hair cut done by Carinn. She was especially wonderful in handling my dark hair which is usually uncooperative when being colored, and cut my hair exactly as I wanted. Also, if you can, make sure to get a shampoo as well! CARINN ROCKS! – I love getting my hair done by Carinn! She always has cool and hip new ideas, I am constantly getting compliments from my friends and strangers about my hair! Thanks Kristin! – I must thank Kristin for another excellent haircut! I wish that my hair grew faster so that I could go more often. I first visited Vain to see Kristin so that she could dread my hair. Well, with dreads I didn't need to go to the salon anymore....that's no fun! Liza knows how to cut curly hair – I discovered Liza at Vain through the website naturallycurly.com in which she is highly recommended. If you have curly hair and are as frustrated as I am that most stylists just cannot cut curly hair, then head over to Vain. Liza knows curly hair!!! I had my first cut last week and she did a great job!
