User review by donna65 – Being in an unfamiliar city, i found Vain to be a friendly, comfortable place, where i was warmly welcomed. The services were outstanding and professional, yet off-beat. I wish there was a Vain close to my home.
VAIN-AMAZING!! – This is by far the coolest salon in seattle! For men and women of all ages this is truly a seattle favorite, with the hippest rotating artshows, style-driver Victoria Gentry behind the scenes making it happen, this place is amazing! When I walk out after getting my hair cut, colored or even after extensions, I feel like a queen-yet so uber cool! thank you VAIN for being an outstanding alternative to mediocre, high priced salons. The value is amazing, the staff is amazing and the atmosphere is ....AMAZING!!!
The ONLY salon in Seattle – I have been a client at Vain for more than four years and would not even think of letting another salon touch my hair! I work in a well-known live music venue and continuosly get complimented on my cut and color (I pass on about five Vain business cards every week). The minute you walk in that front door on 1st Avenue, you are surrounded by a fantastic aura and you know that you are in the right place. The people, the products, the professionalism - really, Vain is the ONLY salon in Seattle!
VAIN I MISS YOU!!! – I lived in Seattle for awhile and Had to move back to boring Utah,I could not find anyone that could even come close to Sharon here! She is so amaxing that I flew To Seattle last week to get my haircut! and of course it was well worth it!!!! She is truely the best!

the best salon in Seattle – Victoria is a genius of style. The atmosphere here is great too - I love that women and men of all ages and style are regular clients here. The selection of jewelry and little accessories is worth stopping in for, even without a hair appointment, and there is a pretty big variety of hair products here.
Liza is great for color – Go see her, you wont be dissapointed. She's also great with curly hair for cut or color! Carinn and Betsy are great for curly hair also.
