Edging it up – Been going here for a couple of years now and I have always been satisfied with my hair cuts. Roxie did an awesome job with my hair. I wanted to have my usual cut but edge it up a bit more then normal and she did a great job. It looked really stylish and the cut she gave, provided me different ways of how I can play with it. City Search Has Gone To Their Heads – 1/1/2008: Vain fits with the hipster crowd. I like their funky atmosphere but that's what they are. They tout on their own website that they cater to everyone but after a year of coming home with the 80's rock-star overly-straightened quasi-mullet I think I might have to break it off with Vain. The best hair salon in Seattle by far – If you want cool atmosphere with hairstylists who actually care about what they do (and what you look like!), Vain's the place to go. I always feel like the haircuts and color I get are *mine* and not some look that every other girl walking down the street has. I recently got some color extension pieces by Kelly that turned out really well, and Ramie's cuts rule. I love VAIN! Check it out you will too.

I love my new color! David Rocks! – I have been playing around with color for a few years and recently started going to David about a year ago when a friend recommended him. I like to change up my look pretty frequently which lead to disaster with my previous colorist but with David that has not been the case. Not What I Expected – After having one hairdresser for seven years, I did a lot of research before settling on Vain. The receptionist was very, very helpful in helping me find the right fit for my hair type. I received a reminder call for my appointment, but she said it was at 2pm, three times she said that. I thought it was at noon, but with the move and the new job, I thought I was spacing. I showed up at 2:00 the following day and was told my appointment was at noon. great experience! – I went to the salon for the first time on a friends recommendation. Kathleen did a great job of cutting my very untamed locks. She listened to what i had to say, made suggestions and was very amienable. My cut was stylish and easy to manage, just what i asked for. The staff are young friendly, funky and not pretentious. Great experience!
