I Love Carly – I'll be honest. I usually go to Supercuts...don't get me wrong they've done a good job - but nothing like the perfect haircut I got from Carly a few days before my wedding. She was friendly, professional and put me at ease within minutes of arriving. Thanks to Carly and her skill as a hairdresser I've had to break up with Supercuts. Sorry Supercuts - we can still be friends, right?
Carinn is AWESOME!!! – I moved up here recently from the San Diego area. Look at me - a make up transformation! – I was recently in Seattle on vacation. A friend booked a private make-up consulation for me, as a nice surprise gift. Before I went into Vain my make-up consisted of Carmex lip balm. What I wanted was a very easy, soft look - nothing comlpicated, nothing overly noticeable. JENN C IS THE BEST STYLIST FOR CURLY HAIR!!! – I was skeptical when choosing a salon after moving to Seattle. I have curly hair, so I wanted to visit a salon that specializes in that. Vain is awesome! Their staff knows what they're doing, they are cool and friendly. It is a bit on the pricey side (generally $50 or so for a wash, cut and blowdry) but trust me it is worth it to get the look that you want! It is Fun to Have Krista Cut Your Hairs – Vain is a fun place. It is not intimidating as some big salons can be and you will find all sorts of patrons. Krista does a fabulous job. I can't believe how many people compliment my cut after each visit...family friends, strangers, strange friends. Sharon is great! – Vain is a great salon. Sharon is one of best stylists for hair. Every time after I leave the salon I always get a ton of compliments on my hair (I get full highlights and low lights). It is a great salon because you get high quality style (for a lower cost) and without all of the fuss of the pretentious salons throughout the area. Go see Janae! – Not only does Vain have a cool atmosphere, great products and a good location - it also has Janae! I went to her for the first time a month ago. She did an awesome job of listening to everything I wanted and she translated it into the perfect haircut for me. I love love love the work the way my hair looks and I love that she cut it in a way that's easy for me to care for & style based on my daily routine. She was also very affordable and very nice. I highly recommend Janae and Vain!
Jennifer Cassidy is THE BEST!! – I was recommended by two friends to see Jen about a year and a half ago and I can't imagine going anywhere else! I have never had a color last as long and look as good and she always has great suggestions for a fun cut. She also is very knowledgeable in what looks good based on hair texture, face shape, etc. Jen has an amazing personality and is always a treat to visit with during the appt. I plan to stay with Jen as long as I can!!
Hip, Rockin' Hair--Ramie is awesome! – Vain is a great place. It seems like no matter who you go with you will get something cool. Ramie is amazing. If you want a hip, great haircut or color, forget Rudy's or Scream. Go to Vain. Ramie is one of the most expensive but she's the best, and she books up fast, so make an appointment in advance.
