We bought into VI strictly for using maui and we have never been disappointed. The system is easy to use. The cost is manageable for maintenance fees. We love it.
We have been members since 2011. Our membership went until 2023. In 2016 while in Maui, my husband was picked up by a wave and broke his neck and back. He is now paralyzed. We continued to pay our dues but this year we got behind and didn't get the payment intime. We wanted to use points for the current year 2018-19 which was usable to 2020 and we offered it to our daughter and husband, as we still don't know how to get a power chair situation on an airplane and the local VI resorts are impossible to get reservations for. The only way to get a decent reservation is to be placed on a waiting list one year in advance. Im 80 years old. How do I know ill be alive and if I am alive, will I be able to travel in one year?????
We go to the Oasis in Palm Springs every year (except this one) and love the place! All the pools and the units are all different sizes - the largest has a den with a queen size bed which will sleep six. It is gated and beautifully landscaped with a nearby golf course.

I have been paying for over two years. We were given a couple of free weeks and never used them so they are gone. Was given another free week when we upgraded. We have never been able to get any of our picks through VI or Interval International.. They made me sign up for three years and another $189 in an attempt to reserve a place next year in Orlando. That was more than a month ago and nothing! I'm done
