I was seen for urgent care the other day and it went by a lot faster than I imagined it would be. The entire experience from stepping in to stepping out with medication took no more than an hour and 15 minutes. The people who took care of me seemed pleased to assist me.
Needed maintenance on my wheelchair, so I checked in to the Spinal Cord Injury rehab unit and they responded to my request with professionalism and courtesy. Was out of there in a few hours with new batteries and a working chair. Merry Christmas to all of our VA doctors, nurses and staff.
Went to my Ortho appointment and waited in line for 10 minutes and the lady ignored me, so I said fuck it and did a self check it with the kiosk and got seen 4 minutes after my scheduled appointment... if you are going to be at the front and suppose to be checking in patients, why are you doing other things like playing games on the computer and ignoring ppl?
Found my old squad leader in the Army infantry. Was a productive day I got a lot done
I was seen right away and I love the new check in process. My experience with the VA has always been pretty good.
