This clinic accomplished in 10 days what took Fayetteville 18 months to do. Fast, high quality care. Most everybody has a positive attitude. I have been to the ER a couple times too and have had very little wait times.
I receive all of my medical cares at the Durham Va. All of which have been nothing short of excellent. I know that every hospital has its horror stories. I believe that the majority of the people who gripe about the VA have not dealt much with the private medical sector. I do on a regular basis with my wife and I would much rather go the Durham VA. I have been going to the Durham VA for 5 years now. I still will continue to go because I am cared and valued as a veteran. All my appointments have been made around my schedule. All staff and VA ambassadors greet me everyday I come. I’ve had so many good experiences! Only issue I have is being able to park. It’s always crowded .
My name is Carrie and I am using my friends page. I want to let you know that you are the worse at taking care of of our Veterans!!! My husband need Post Acute Medical Care and you want to send him 75+ miles from my home and I am disabled and will not see my husband 4 up to 8 weeks or more?!?!? Either do the right thing or hear from my atty.!!!!
The Durham VA saved my daddy’s life period!! There’s no way that I could ever say thank you big enough. From the doctors, the nurses, the people that came in and cleaned his room, gathered his trash, and shaved him before surgery. Everyone was so wonderful and respectful. I hold each person that came in contact with my father to the highest regards. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
My father was taken back to the Durham VA a week ago after suffering a fall at Pruitt Health, a VA contracted nursing home that neglected him horribly, and breaking bones in his neck. He calls me upset daily indicating he’s been left laying in his own excrement for more than an hour on multiple occasions, makes reasonable requests to staff for assistance with various things and they just completely ignore him and he overhears staff talking about how they aren’t going in to his room to help him almost daily.
