Durham VA is so difficult to navigate. When you get lost, even the volunteers and staff can’t give you directions. The elevators don’t work at times. It’s very difficult for a 2 time Stroke Survivor to walk up 4 flights of stairs and then back down. I’d much rather be at Greenville VA.
RecommendedThank you to the employees of this hospital. Everyone is so positive, patient, and kind. My Dad is new to the area. He has been welcomed with open arms and treated as if they’ve known him for years. Special shout outs to Radiology, Occupational Therapy(Gargano) Physical Therapy, the Pharmacy, Eligibility, the lab, transporters, Starbucks, and the cafeteria. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2013. The VA with help from Duke Drs promptly removed the cancerous part of my colon and put me back together. I am very greatful for thier expertise. Five years and cancer free. 1 Thank
They do a great job of taking care of me - from getting me my meds in a timely fashion to appointments where i don't feel rushed.
