I have always gotten good care at the VA in Loma Linda and Victorville. It's been a heck of a lot better than the civilian medical has.
My husband & I are both veterans & we have received the best of care at this facility. They saved my life & still have me see the oncologist every 4 months. Thank you Loma Linda VA & thank you Module 4, thank you Short Stay Unit, Pharmacy, Dr. G, Dr. Miles, Dr. Stepian, P.A. Truong, all the nurses, desk help & all the kind people who work there.
The DAV shuttle provided to Vets is deteriorating. Besides there being no service after 1:00 p.m. daily, but as of recently, per Steve at extension 6014, they "have no drivers" for Tuesdays and Fridays. How can we get funding back over for this? Otherwise, they may as well shut the "service" down, because it's virtually impossible to line up an appointment with shuttle availability. Especially if the appointment is of a critical nature.
I am wondering if anyone else is having issues with getting reimbursed for travel it has been 6 weeks since my appointment and nothing. They have even taken off the number to travel benefits off the website.

Just to inform the higher ups, I had an appt this morning at the main hospital and since I require help from Travel, Instead of being picked up in either a bubble top van or a van used in shuttling people, I Was Picked UP and Brought Home In a 30 passenger Emergency Management Bus. This is a waste of use of a vehicle.
I secured messaged my primary care doctor in the Juliet Clinic yesterday. She called me 15 minutes after I sent the message and asked me if I could come in today at 1430! Wow, I was so impressed. Way to go Juliet Clinic!!!!
Murrieta VA clinic is great.. VA Loma Linda has wonderful staff and service,that's why I travel from Phoenix. Thank yiy
