Do not trust the STAR program. I reached out for help and was turned away. I think it’s a cookie cutter Program. And all they care is about how many people they can successfully treat without any issues. I don’t really think they care. I think that they just are in it for the money.

good luck getting same day prescription if you live an hour away and cannot find all the way to Loma Linda, which is my closet. Terrible no one answers phones and takes forever to get back to you. so sad how Veterans are treated. There should be a way to get same day prescriptions when urgent

I'v been a patient at the Loma Linda VA for over 10 years, The Staff, Dr's, Nurses are very professional and take care of Veterans with the utmost loyalty and respect. You are the best as far as I can't say in words but you all are in my heart forever, This includes the staff for all locations connected to Loma Linda. THANK YOU ALL, I wish there was something I could do for you all during this time of need, you deserve too be HONORED, and should be Proud of yourselves. God Bless You All.
The VA at Loma Linda is my healthcare provider by choice. My only complaint, and I'm hesitant to make it, is that there is sometimes a long wait for care, though my health has never been jeopardized by a long wait. Treatment comes sooner for those who are in more serious need, which means others may have to wait a bit, and that's how it should be.
My Hubby has gone here since 2008 and has had/is getting the most excellant care
The care and concern. If not for Pettis Memorial and personnel I might be homeless. Treated for bipolar disorder since 1996, and prostate cancer since 2003 (biopsies, PSA monitoring). Now cancer-free as of my last urological consultation. Thanks, everyone. Be safe and stay healthy.
