Not one person is asked for ID in this hospital! Not one! Other VA hospital you DO NOT GET IN WITHOUT ID! Needs to be addressed asap!
Another great experience at my va waited 5 minutes to be called and in and out in less than hour
1st time visit. Located in nice part of Cleveland. Large facility. Parking was OK. Have to make 2nd trip due to equipment failure, so that sucks.
I have no problem with the Cleveland, Parma or Akron VA. What I do have a problem with are the people they have hire to make calls from Washington, DC. ESPECIALLY MARK @ 202-596-0762 ! He is one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. My day job was speaking with customers by phone, and even when enterrupting them when the customer felt he didn't want to be bothered .... they didn't act or speak like this guy!!! It "IS" people like MARK that give the VA the bad name.
They made me feel right at home. Did not have to wait long for service
I know it takes a little getting used to, but I really do love the care I get here.
Our experience yesterday was horrible. We signed in a half hour before my husband's appt. From past experience, he's called back within 5-10 min for his vitals then sits back in the waiting area till dr calls him back (about 30 min). We sat and watched every patient in the waiting area get called back for their vitals/dr and my husband was ignored. After complaining twice (with nothing being done) and an hour and a half later, we left. Now we have to wait till Sept. 11 to see the heart dr. Very frustrated!
For Vascular and Cardiology what a joke. My spouse has needed carotid surgery since DEC 2016. But test after after test it is now July 23, 2017 and NO surgery date. The last test a heart cath on June 29 showed major blockages in heart and legs. But instead of keeping him they SENT HIM HOME. We saw a cardiac-thoracic surgeon on July 5th He needs a triple bypass and was told he also needed a heart valve replacement that his electrocardiogram showed the leaky valve NOT one person has ever mentioned to us.
