twice ive been referred to this facility and twice ive canceled my appointment because instead of them knowing what information they need from my referral source they make me call and try to explain to them what they need. And instead of me being able to send them my new client paperwork, i have to show up 30 minutes early for my appointment for some asinine reason? RecommendedI've used Urology Centers of Alabama for more than 30 years. I use Dr. Kitchens and love her because she is a wonderful doctor and is caring and attentive. I saw Dr. Lutz yesterday for a kidney stone because Dr. Kitchens was not in the office. He was so concerned and I felt like I've been seeing him for years. He has called me twice to follow up on my visit. Very unusual in this day for a physician to call you personally. They require social security numbers in order to be treated as an insurance patient. You can provide your driver’s license and insurance card yet they still require the social security number. They off no guarantee that they won’t be hacked. They off nothing. I don’t recommend this facility.
Dr. Mell Duggan is the most incompetent jerk I have ever met. He let my daughter go into a 4 day weekend without letting her know results of catscan that was taken on Tuesday and then left for the Thanksgiving holidays. I wouldn’t let him look at my dog.

Ed Bugg did my surgery. Removed the cancer. Brian Christine did the incontenance sling. I am back to normal. Their staff ( everyone!!) schedulers , nurses and the urodynamics staff were so caring and available. So lucky to have them in my town
