medical staff gave me a perscription medication on 2 occasions that was NOT ordered by a doctor or necessary for treatment.
hire real doctors and nurses. better yet shut down. the govt needs to break up this monopoly.
I rate them great because emergency services are underrated and people don’t understand how much time and care go into helping patients. I thank God for EMT’s, paramedics, doctors and nurses.
I'd give a -10 rating if I could! UPMC doesn't care about their patients, nurses, doctors, or anyone working for them or using their services. I was straight up lied to by a customer service rep about my copays and coverage when moving onto UPMC insurance for my new job. They are a fake non-profit bringing in millions of dollars to give their CEO a private jet, but can't pay the people working for them enough to pay their general expenses, let alone medical expenses. So it appears that your IT department is as incompetent as your billing department! I been trying to pay next month 's premium for 3 days and the website is unavailable! And your billing department engages in creative invoicing!! Let's hope your medical care is much better!!
UPMC Presby is a huge hospital with some of the issues that go along with that. That said... they had the staff, skill, and equipment to keep my wife alive long enough to receive a double lung transplant. We've been here in this process for a month as of today. We've had one nurse that was sub par. We brought it to the attention of the staff who rectified the situation immediately. Parking attendants, food staff, technicians, nurses, surgeons... all were courteous, professional, and personable.
