Poor nursing care on several occasions.
RecommendedI RECEIVED MY CADAVER KIDNEY 6 13 16 MY SURGEON WAS AMAZING AMIT TEVAR . STAFF WAS AWESOME CARING PROFESSIONAL PATIENT AND THE BEST HOSPITAL FOR ME I DON'T GO TO MY LOCAL HOSPITAL. MY FAMILY DRIVES ME120 MILES TO UPMC SO I CAN RECEIVE PROPER DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT THANK YOU UPMC!!!
Dear nurses aides of UPMC, I guess its part of your job to chase EMS out the door and mouth off to them in a parking lot?? Really? Okay?! I have never in my 18 years as an EMT dealing with UPMC all the time had to deal with what I had to today! Very uncalled for that your employees act in the manner they did today Very embarrassing!
Mixed feelings as I escorted my dad to his oncology appointment (I live out of state)...he hasn’t been able to have treatment for the last 6 months because of all the other issues ... we walked in and it was like Norm walking into Cheers, the administrative staff are wonderful. ❌⭕️ to those who work in the medical space and show the care and compassion in very challenging environments. I myself have tears in my eyes as I look around this huge waiting area which is unfortunately chalk full.
Wife had surgery went well. Dr came in am discharged in PM without seeing dr. At home pain meds had worn off. Called dr 3 hours after discharge for script but was told no drs available at 4 PM. No pain meds will be available at this time. I cannot talk to dr directly. Not allowed per nurse at his office. Thanks dr ward and associates.
Top doctors and nurses. They treat the entire person not just the cancer. Always treated with dignity and respect. I say often... I had to get cancer in order to know what top healthcare is like.
Presby and Montifioure have to be the dirtiest places on earth.. Trauma ICU and regular garbage cans over flowing onto the floor.. and they were like that when my daughter got moved into those rooms.. I thought the rooms were suppose to be disinfected after each patient??? Then I get this message from my daughter after she used a bed pan.. (see attachment).. What is wrong with you people??.. I have worked in the medical field for almost 40 yrs.. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
