I get phone calls for town hall meetings (I don't even have UPMC coverage). My answering machine is off so they have to let it ring over 10 times before the machine automatically picks up (hint UPMC,. If I don't answer after 5 rings I don't want your sales pitch). Then they S L O W L Y give you the number to participate in their survey. If you choose not to, they give you a phone number, to decline, so quickly that you have to replay three entire message three times to accurately get the number. I want say doctor Rebecca EDmonds is a wonderful doctor and the surgery staff was awesome and made me feel so comfortable when I was having right inguinal hernia surgery
My wife had an absolutely horrible experience with Dr Brian Klatt. She has Degenerate Joint Disease and he told her that she had nothing wrong with her. She has been diagnosed for a very long time. This supposed doctor told to get bariatric surgery because she is fat. If I had been in the room with her I probably would have been in jail afterwards. I am not going to apologize for my thoughts but the idiot "doctor" needs to have some retraining on how to talk to people on their proverbial last leg. And quite literally.
Very hard to be a donor. They seem not to have the proper staff to handle the people who want to donate .. filled out form and talked to someone then they called and left message and when I call back get asked the same questions and get know where. Sorry to the people who need organ transplant. I was hoping I could help and be a match. But don’t trust them anymore

Worst medical experience I've ever had! From the Dr making inappropriate comments to the fact that the procedure failed and I was still charged full price are just a few of the many reasons I would NEVER recommend UPMC Lancaster to anyone! In addition, I was told my insurance co. was contacted and was made aware of what my out of pocket expenses would be ($2000) only to find out now, it's been denied by the insurance co. and I now owe an additional $21,000!! Genuinely focus on caring for people. Start with your employees, who are frustrated and miserable. Then your patients who get ushered around like livestock. UPMC is a health care factory with more emphasis on feng shui, marketing, and market control than actual "care".I will continue to choose BHS and AHN for health care.
