RecommendedAlthough in the end there was nothing they could do for my mom I am grateful for all the nurses she had while on 5 west in Mointer. Nurses such as Kacey, Amy and Danika helped to make my mom as comfortable as possible in her final moments and I will forever be grateful.
Some areas of UPMC have medical staff shortages and need to quit sending all veterans to the Veterans Affairs for medical care.

Concentrate/have programs suitable for the elderly population. I was a pt. for 3 straight weeks for a fx humerus with radial nerve palsy. I was an inpt. at UPMC Presby, a UPMC skilled nursing facility on Fisk Ave., Montefiore, Magee-Womens Hosp. Transitional care unit. Currently at home with f/u currently to check vitals and pain assessment, I needa fx. humerus program which no one seems to know about, let alone placement of brace which the brace co. has done twice.
