I hate them - I pay an enornmous monthly bill to be told that I need to drive 30 miles to been seen by a doctor - when there is a medexpress 5 minutes from my house - Everything that I had done this year came out of my pocket because the $10,000 I paid for my coverae wasn;t good enough
Wait times for appointments aren’t days or weeks they are months. Access to records through the app is difficult at best, let alone getting someone to respond or let you know the results.

I love and recommend this facility . their staff and physicians are amazing. they saved my finance's life. doctor paul gardener is especially being thanked right now for his firm belief in putting the quality of life of his patient first. the nurses on 6d are phenomenal. caring , professional but never forget they are caring for a human being . nothing short of amazing. thank you all <3
New mom here - although I am very thankful I was able to recieve a free breast milk pump through my UPMC insurance, I just called to see if I could get some breast milk freezer storage bags as well. I am disappointed this is not offered as I had unpaid maternity leave and financially am struggling to purchase them. I hope UPMC looks into this and considers to offer this to new moms. UPMC member services does have the best customer service though.
i went to upmc for years. Their staff is beyond neglectful. i went to their hospitals for many years since i was a child. but only recently i went to an agh hospital and discovered a spina bfida condition at the age of 33. why did upmc never look into the severe back pain i mentioned on numerous occasions. because they are neglectful and honestly don't care about the patients they're supposed to take care of. its not even neglect. they won't even schedule the proper testing. Don’t go to UPMC Altoona unless you want infection after infection- for whatever reason no legal action can be taken against UPMC either. Awful hospital- I will be sure to warn everyone, although most people know! Oh thank you UPMC for the blanket letter you sent to say sorry we caused you infection though! I will be sure to save that!
