operation scheduled for 1120am...not even started by 2pm...absolutely no one to inform us of this change...meanwhile my dogs are locked in cages with no one to help!!! then was told we would see my sister post op in recovery so we could leave to care for our pets...once again bs...never happened and then were told she was in her room...again bs went there and over an hour later she was!!! i would like to lock you people in a cage!!!
Neurology for MS is a joke at UPMC. LAUGHABLE when watching advertisements and they claim they are the best and cutting edge when in reality AHN offers more and the newest in MS treatment and all UPMC Doctors say is we dont offer that, maybe in the future. Y’all keep people sick and make money. No money in a cure!

by not doing lung evaluations knowing the patient has a mechanical heart valve!!! I feel they did the evaluation just for the insurance money knowing they were going to turn me down. Their excuse the heart doctor doesn't know until after the evaluation is done, Don't you think he should be included through all evaluations?? Too me they don't want their success rate to drop
Altoona upmc sucks! My grandmother turns 69 in just two short hours, they have her sitting in the ER waiting room since 5pm. THEY HAVE NO ROOM FOR HER! She deals with back issues she’s in physical therapy for, and has her sitting in an uncomfortable chair. I’m 23 and feel like my back is killing me from sitting here. They continue to take her back for testing, and putting her right back in the waiting room. It’s now been 5 hours with no bed to relax in & no dr to see her. Best physicians in PA They are the best
I find that when I'm paying a $238.83 premium every 2 weeks that one could reasonably expect better prescription service and coverage. Needed a "prior auth." for prescription - UPMC will tell you all day long that they take 24-48 hours to go though. I submitted prescription on Tuesday - after calling EVERY DAY to light a fire under someone's butt, they pushed it through today! Seems a little longer than 48 hours to get a med to ease my excruciating pain! And, another prescription I have they "don't cover"!!! WHY?!?!?!? Isn't... read more
