Moving to UV was the worst decision I've made since I've been in Carbondale !!! The staff sucks & it's a sneaky fee for everything !! I HATE IT !!!!!!!!
You would think when you move out you shouldn't be held responsible for utility overages occurring after moving out. But University Village will charge you for your former roommates using utilities. I don't understand why the roommates can't be charged for the amount they used. I was out of the apartment for 3 months and signed paperwork relinquishing my access to the apartment.
The only thing I liked about this place is the apartment. Other than that not that worth it to live with the management, majority of them are rude and I met a co-resident who was working there who would vouch for that. Especially don't like Amber. The house checks are true as well, non of the other places in Carbondale I've been to do that. I'd recommend somewhere else and agree with the bad reviews above.
