Just wanna say... I was there about a month ago with a broken arm...my time being there was time well spent to Think about what happened to me... Also every doctor that i had was nothing but nice to me... Although my attitude wasn't the most pleasent when it came time for me to be discharged... I also wanted to say thank you to the doctors that helped me while i was in care, without them my arm wouldn't be as good as it was before hand.... Some of the nurses were amazing, while I dealt with a doctor who had the audacity to come in my room (I have breast cancer and was having expanders put in) and say that I could go home now, and I told her the pain meds weren't working and I felt really bad, couldn't move at all because they cut into my muscle, and she looked at me and said I looked fine and that my husband could take me out for breakfast once we left because I looked good, and I was crying and hurting, I told her that she was funny, in a sarcastic way..I tol... read more
Worst hospital I have ever had a family member in. Like pulling teeth to get a Dr to listen to you . And then it takes 2 to 3 days to write an order. Is this because it is state run ?If you are over the age of 70 take warning they do discriminate
I had a full hip replacement performed by Dr Sherman at Upstate Community Hospital Campus and I can not tell you how happy I am!!! Dr Sherman and his surgical team were GREAT!!! Also I want to thank the nurses on the 6th, they were the best I have ever had take care of me. They were kind, curtious, knowledgeable, patient and willing to go the extra mile to keep their patients comfortable and safe!!! Finally, the physical therapy department on the 6th floor were great! I. have been coming to Upstate Cancer Center with my 11 yr.old Grandson for his infusion for 5years now and everyone is doing a great job.
