Back on October 12 2015 I was transferred to Upstate from St Elizabeth hospital in Utica with 3rd degree burns to my hand and wrist. I spent 18 days in the burn ward and the care I received was amazing . Nurse Olivia was my favorite, kind ,caring and gentle during bandage changes. Since that initial stay I have been back for more surgeries and received best care I could ask for.
Saw opthalmic neurosurgeon Dr Mejhico. Exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend him if in need of his specialty. He actually reviewed everything and listened.

I was recently in the ED following a MVA. The nurses and physicians were professional, compassionate and efficient.
A big thanks to Dr Green my cardiac surgeon and Dr Ahmed my cardiologist. My procedure went well and I am feeling better. I would especially like to thank all the nurses in the Cardiac ICU who were absolutely awesome. Thanks.
They have the best technology for a big emergency but if it’s a “small emergency I’d go to community general, which is still Upstate but you’d get in and out faster. The downtown hospital takes long in the ER, you’ll be there for hours in the waiting room and more hours in the ER
