I don't know what it is about male staff there but they are always rude as hell. I don't know if it's because they feel superior to others because of their genitalia or what. I was there last night and had two of the rudest male doctors there. Made me feel very uncomfortable about everything. The female nurses were all lovely. I almost left and went somewhere else to get treated. You guys need to really check your staff before they get hired. I'm probably never going back there. Very rude and unprofessional. I've never been ... read more

This was my 2nd trip to the nerosurgical unit. I was treated with the utmost respect and got immediate attention when I hit my call button. My nurses Lana and John were absolutely amazing and when I hit the floor after surgery I was greeted by about 8 ppl that were happy to see me again! Which amazed me because the last time I was in, I'm told I wasn't the easiest patient by my family. (don't remember). I can't see how anyone can give them a bad review, especially with them working 12 hour shifts!

I can't say thank you enough . To all the specialists and especially the nurses "angels" on the six floor and the oncology floor . Not only did they take exceptional care of my mother they gave me piece of mind in that challenging time. Mom is cancer free and where all so thankful for Upstate Oncology.

I went to Urgent Care for some tingling on my right side and was sent to Upstate on a stroke code. I got to the hospital by ambulance, went straight to CT (they literally took me from the ambulance right to CT) and into a trauma room. I was examined by a neuro resident and had blood drawn. Thankfully it was not a stroke! The nurses were wonderful. If you think you might be having a stroke, go to Upstate! It will literally save your life!

The staff and volunteers were great! So kind and helpful. They made me as comfortable as they could and we're all very pleasant. It was a good experience for my first time at this hospital.
