RecommendedDr. Kurtom performed my back surgery on 9/12/19. This was my third back surgery, the first performed by him. This is the first time in 9 years that I have been completely pain free and it has only been one week and day since my surgery. Dr. Kurtom's staff and he himself were extremely helpful, professional and compassionate, I highly recommend him as a surgeon. I appreciate everything he and his staff have done for me!

RecommendedFast easy check in. Thorough exam. explained diagnosis and treatment options. Electronic Rx orders ( was ready for pick up when I arrived). Clean, pleasant atmosphere. Everyone was very polite and helpful.

RecommendedNot only is Dr. Kurtom a highly skilled surgeon who truly cares about his patients, he has built a team that assures the best possible outcome...these skilled professionals were meant to be doing exactly what they’re doing. Dr. Kurtom, Wendy Towers, and their team do an amazing job...we’re fortunate to have them on the shore.
I’m very disappointed in the service here! I understand not having the proper surgeons on call but to refer him out to have emergency surgery to a hospital in Baltimore (Medstar Union Memorial Hospital) where they make him wait even longer to even have his vitals checked. Why not refer him somewhere closer or take him by ambulance to ensure proper transfer of care. RecommendedEach person from the two front desk gals to the doctor were pleasant, knowledgeable and compassionate. I have been to other urgent care clinics and none other takes better care of me than ChoiceOne on Merritt Blvd by the library.

I went in about 10 mins til closing desperately needing to be seen and was very apologetic until I came in contact with EUNICE BREWER and her frowned face. She had a nasty attitude because it was almost closing time and I guess she was ready to go which is understandable but as a medical assistant myself you never make the patient feel uncomfortable and that’s exactly what she did.
