Took my husband to the ER twice in a week due to the fact he couldnt breath and was coughing uncontrollably (mind you last time he was even sick was over 5 years ago.). he was tested for covid and it was negative. they did a chest xray and they said it was ok but they could hear how bad he was.. the nurse checked his lungs after his nebulizer treatment and even double checked to make sure he had an xray because of how bad he sounded. Do not go here!!!!!!!!!!! They are very unorganized. You will get multiple answers from multiple people over the phone. They literally say whatever they can to get you off of the phone, then when you do what they say and it’s WRONG they tell you “someone gave you wrong info” and tell you something else. This establishment is not fit to handle anything coronavirus related. It’s a total mess! They need training for the pandemic because they are very confused and it shows. I just got a creditor bill for $10 from a service I got from this hospital in June. I have always paid my bills that I have received from this service. I have NEVER received a bill from this hospital for $10. I would have paid it. It’s dishonest and incompetent to send someone to collections when they have Never received a bill!!!! RecommendedI went to St Rose Emergency because I couldn't breath. I found out I had covid 3days earlier. These wonderful people were working hard. Everyone I met was so professional, so caring. I was there for 11 days. I was on the 2nd floor for 10 nts. The nurses and staff made me feel like family. They helped me with anything. My Drs and the respiratory and physical therapy staff worked to get me moving. When I was discharged they played amazing grace as I left. All the hospital staff was in the foyer on each floor. Dirty ER. Unprofessional. Rude. Discharged my son with a badly broken arm. No consult with a surgeon. Gave him an oral pain med , of course it did not work, then manipulated his arm to X-ray. Totally ignored that his finger was in pain also. Turns out it was fractured Nurse asked me to monitor his breathing while she sat and ate Chicken Filet.
