St. Joseph's care of my precious dad could not be better - (we had one rough day). He leaves tomorrow much healthier, well informed, and really looking forward to regaining and improving his quality of life! Thanks to all of you who devote yourselves to the healing process. I believe that every day is a gift, and my family is forever grateful to you.

I took my 86 year old mother, 88 pound, vomiting and hemorrhaging, doubled over in pain to ER where she sat for two hours before seeing a doctor! There was no triage, others were taken in before her who were not bleeding or having trouble breathing or looked like they were in pain. It took them 7 hours to find her a bed! The room was awful! Staff was unprofessional, unaccommodating and uncommunicative. This after driving 45 minutes because I thought they were a good hospital! St Joe's took very good care of me. I had a central nervous system infection that was, at first, thought to be a stroke. I cannot say enough about the care end. My 3 stars is based on trying to pay the various bills on line. I've never seen a bill pay portal that that asks for payment information without showing you the invoice amount first - now I'm off to write several checks. Something I rarely do anymore in this digital age.
Tonight i brought my wife to labor and delivery, due to her having pain in her stomach. They had us wait 15 minutes before I asked again informing them of my wife's pain. After another 5 minutes we were brought back. with minimal testing and information of bad news they ask me out of the room. never to invite me back until they released my wife. The level of disrespect by the Doctor is ridiculous.
I speak English & had a hard time understand ER doctors & nurses on my last visit there 3/8-3/9/15, I was refused any drink but not even given an IV liquid & then after 7 hours were telling me I was dehydrated. Well no crap I was dehydrated, they did it to me. I agreed to stay to have my Cardiologist review the things in the morning. That was done by 930 AM and they agreed to discharge me.
