RecommendedMy daughter was a patient there for 21 years. We have nothing but praise and gratitude for everything they did for our daughter.
Our daughter has a rare autoimmune disease, so we have been receiving treatments every month for over a year now. The doctors, child life specialists, medical assistants and nursing staff are amazing and treat us with kindness, compassion and make sure that our daughter feels comfortable and has everything she needs! Such a great place to receive medical care.
My first child was in the NICU here for 46 days. They were amazing with him and took good care of both him and me. My 3rd child will also be in the NICU here when she is born. I know that she will be well taken care of.
We had the most amazing experience here. No one ever expects that their child will be in the hospital but it happened to us and UI Children’s Hospital was nothing short of phenomenal. The doctors, nurses, and staff were so supportive and helpful and most importantly fixed our sweet little boy. We will always choose UI Hospitals and Clinics... always!
If I could give zero stars I would. We have had numerous issues with Doctors here. If you question the Doctors their ego takes a hit and treat you and your child very poorly. If you don’t have a choice on where to go, it’s better then nothing... BUT if you have other options, even transporting to Blank or Mercy in Des Moines, I HIGHLY recommend it.
The staff and doctors are AMAZING!! Although, as parents, we never thought we would be here with our own child, but we could not have been at a better place for our son!
