RecommendedOn August 4th, 2017...my wife went into labor about 6 weeks early. At 1715 hrs CDT on the same day, our son was born. I must say that the NICU staff on 6JPP and at the new patient tower were nothing short of exceptional and helped my wife and I adjust to caring for our little miracle. Nearly 16 months later, we continue to have a happy and healthy boy. It is largely due to their quality of care.
We had to visit a couple weeks ago and everyone was beyond great!!! I can’t rave enough! My daughter wanted to be a nurse because of all the great nurses we encountered :)
Our little boy has to have surgery today and as a mom I was very nervous but everyone we had working with him was amazing. They all came in and explained things thoroughly and were so friendly and cheerful. Our little man was sore but felt good enough to drink and eat after :) Hopefully we do not have to have any more surgery in our near future for any of our kids but if we do, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you everyone for the wonderful jobs you all did.
Dr. Pesce and her endocrinologist team are amazing! They have helped us learn about our son’s condition and answer our questions in detail. We are very blessed to be so close to a children’s hospital and have a team of medical staff who understands congenital adrenal hyperplasia. We are also grateful for their great response to newborn screenings.
I am 23 but was placed in the Children's hospital after my 2 surgeries. The staff here is absolutely amazing and so caring. I feel blessed to have been able to stay there for my recovery. They were hands down the best nursing staff I've ever seen. I worked in a Hospital for years, I've had experience with my work nursing team. The children's hospital staff was by far the best I have ever seen. I thank them for taking great care of me.
Our daughter was in the ER Saturday night after hurting her leg. We had to wait for her leg to be placed in a cast. Her nurse, Haley, brought our daughter a bear. She loves it so much she calls it “Haley bear”. It was a perfect name because we will remember the nice warm smile she greeted us from the moment we walked into the door🙂 Could not be anymore happier with our experience.
The staff is the best most caring people!! they are so dedicated to do whatever it takes to make folks feel like everything will be alright !!!
University Hospital Children Hospital has changed since I have been their I was there when it was the old Hospital and was 12 years old when I had my first back surgery called Scoliosis I was born with it.!!!��
