My mother was referred to Surgery from Dubuque for a spot on her Pancreas. That was a month ago. She still hasn't gotten an appointment despite the office in Dubuque calling the U of I surgery twice. I would not recommend my dog going here and I'm a HUGE Iowa Fan!!!

Vibrant atmosphere. A spirit of hope pervades the whole place. it's not fun to be I'll but if you are this is the place to go.
I’ve been seeing a neurosurgeon at this hospital for the last two years and I must say that I’m very disappointed with my experience. The doctors aren’t honest with you and they really don’t care about many of the patients. They are in an out with you and could care less if you know how to care for yourself. I really regret my experience at University of Iowa hospitals and clinics neurosurgery department and I will not go back there.
Only hospital I completely trust. I’ve had great experiences with them everytime.
To have a serious day at our State’s University Hospital, and have great care, to have over 20 staff initiate friendly conversations, not including the professionals 11 professionals I spent time with,was nothing short of spectacular! We even had a few very funny moments, usually not associated with a day trip visit to the hospital:)
