There chemo and radiation team
I don’t know about the rest of the hospital but I definitely don’t recommend the ER to anyone, over 12 hours to get checked in people are crying from pain and wait, and nobody seems to care ( unprofessional people at the window) very depressing, left the hospital in more pain than I came in with.
RecommendedI had surgery 8/10/20... the surgical team & recovery team I had were AMAZING ..... all these ppl here at University of Iowa Hospital are awesome ...great care & very knowledgeable....top notch group here .....

I can’t say enough good things about UIHC. My daughter and myself have been treated so wonderfully there by the staff and doctors. The life specialist made such a huge impact on my daughter when she was going for a scope and distracted her during the IV process. Just wonderful!!!

The best doctors been going there for 40 years
One of their Employees named Ivy has been spouting violent rhetoric. I wouldn't recommend a hospital that hires extremists. No telling what might happen.

I was referred to University of Iowa Cancer Center and I was treated very well by all doctors and nursing staff. I had 2 surgeries done within 2 weeks and was very impressed by all the precautions they took before , during and after my surgeries. I would refer my friends and family for medical treatments because I recieved excellent care during my stay. Great Staff and Great Screening for patient safety.
