Been with my husband in the ER for 16 hours. Dr supposedly ordered MRI and EEG 9 hours ago. Keeping my diabetic husband NPO in case he needs surgery. So he is dehydrated, and blood sugars are out of whack. Got one CT right away....took 10 minutes. Around 1 am. Other than blood draws, and EKG, nothing has been done. Shut in a room all day with no one checking on him. The night nurse was excellent and kept an eye on him and got stuff done. This is ridiculous and unacceptable!!!!!! Closing in on 5 pm. Garbage they turned me away while I was walking in with my husband for his doctor appointment. They said visitors were not permitted unless previously authorized. The lady making the appointment never said anything about this. We drove do very very far. They are idiots or against gays. Im not sure which. No bathrooms for me in the parking garage. Ive been holding it in since Illinois...

6 hours in the ER to be treated. This is ridiculous. Been here since 9:00 AM and still here. Poor guy sitting here with a napkin on his mouth, bleeding, and he has been here since 9 and has not been seen yet. Go to Mercy Hospital!!!!!
Do NOT go here for hospital level mental health care. The doctors lack empathy and do not consider patients concerns or opinions on their care... ESPECIALLY on the Crisis Stabilization Unit. They are disrespectful, rude, and resistant. And when they decide something they DO NOT LISTEN to the concern of the patient it pertains to, they argue and ignore. Yes I like the University Hospitals for their excellent doctors and surgeons. But I was sadly disappointed with the care that my adult son recently received. My son fell from a roof some 20+ feet and was AirCared to the U if I trauma unit. I think everything initially went well but no one cleaned him up (he arrived at about 3:30 pm) at all and I can tell you they were not hard pressed in the way of help on hand. Before my last appointment I was seen by Nicole Miller, Dr Tracy’s PA. She was extremely easy to talk with and gave me some great suggestions which have really helped me since.
