I only come here because I have a wonderful Dr., our experience with the secretaries at the front desk has been awful. I came for an appointment, and they informed me that I had to go to the emergency room instead, because My appointment was at an earlier time. When we got home, I checked the reminder that was mailed to me, and it was the appointment I came for. Our mother has had at least 15 hospital stays in the last 5 years due to Congestive Heart Failure. She was recently In U.H Portage County and it was by far the absolute best care she has received in any of her stays at any hospital! The Nurses in the Step Down unit are A++ and all deserve promotions! Thank You for taking such great care of our Mother!

I love my family dr which is the only reason I can give this hospital 2 stars instead of 1. This is the second time I have been placed for collection without ever receiving a bill. No statement, no bill, no calls, no emails. Then I get a call from a collection company (which btw can't or won't tell me what the bill is even for). So I have to spend my day off on the phone while someone tries to figure out what happened and get it corrected. This time the problem is I sent in a payment but they applied it to the wrong account.... read more
