Downed power line from the snow because a tree branch broke. We had no idea the tree was starting to rot from the inside. We have power so the power line is live... they told us we had to wait until Monday. We have animals that need to go outside to go potty, the tree is touching the house so if the power line breaks or grounds that tree and our house is going up in flames.... not an emergency I guess. Nothing like kicking somebody in the teeth when they are down. My power was turned off breifly a while back because like so many other people money is a issue right now. UNITED POWER decided to add a 190.00 deposit to my bill without even letting me know. When i called to find out why my bill was so much i was greeted rather rudely so I will just add it to the other struggles I have now I guess. Thanks for nothing UNITED POWER.
We purchased our house about 6 months ago and had some questions about our service from the pole to the box. A technician was down the line doing some work and I approached him with my questions. He (Kyle) was very nice, took the time to talk to me, walk to my box and verify my suspicions and then swapped out my meter to accommodate what we suspected. All while he was supposed to be doing something else. Great customer service and a welcome experience these days.
Their customer service just on our new buyers-payment was never an issue but instead of calling them they cancelled service-true story. I have no reason to make this up-terrible service and with some talent could have been resolved by contacting new owners which she refused.

We have been without power for 29 hours with scarce updates. I have called and messaged and have not gotten any useful info to help plan for another night without heat or water due to no power. We have livestock that we needed to make plans for. I understand that outages happen but update your customers.....
Always working in bad weather to get our power back on. Thank You!!!!!!
