My husband had foot surgery there yesterday and I've have had 2 hip replacements there. Excellent doctors, nurses and staff.
I'm a cab driver from key lime taxi in elkton MD and I took a customer to that hospital and had a great experience..great hospital
I received prompt and courteous service. The doctor took the time to listen to me and answered my questions succinctly.
What a shame. The toilet in my room (Orthopedics 835) got clogged around 3pm on Friday, September 9 and as of 6:30AM on Saturday September 10, it still is not fixed. The fact that I had to go on commode when I was finally able to ambulate to bathroom was just what I needed to start the day, September 10.
I have been a long time patient at Union Memorial, 41 years in December, my daughter born at Union in 75, I broke my foot last weekend and of course when it became so painful I went into my neighborhood hospital, my primary care doctor, my pulmonary specialist, the nurses all treat me like I the most important patient to walk in the front door, which by the way is the name of the gift shop....I guess you see how much I love Union Memorial. They take care of me ALWAYS.
The doctors who have taken care of me in the orthopaedic dept and hand clinic were wonderful. The office staff and secretaries are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered. I work in the healthcare industry and this type of treatment of patients, who are in pain and need assistance, is unacceptable regardless of how "busy" you may be.

The employees are very helpful compassionate very clean
In 1998 my husband had a five way bypass the Drs. & Nurses were great and the care was great. I'd recommend my friends / family.
