Why does the DCU center have stricter guidelines than our Hospital??? N95 or PAPR for every DCU caregiver.... we are out of PAPRs and fitted N95 masks at UMASS.... We were told standard masks are fine for Covid positive pt exposure- unless dealing with a ventilator- hmmmm is this where all the donated items from so many generous people and companies went?? Feeling disappointed and confused why we UMASS would be ok with this- these patients were discharged from hospital but not quite able to go home- correct- why would UMASS ... read more

UMASS saved my life. I went from appearing to be perfectly healthy to urgently needing brain surgery for a tumor. Within hours post surgery, I was able to get into a chair and sit-up, recognize and speak with family, and walk again. For me it was a miracle of compassion, medical skill, and technology. I will never forget UMASS Memorial. Without hat is the day of seizures due to brain tumor and with hat was 10 days post seizure, 6 days post surgery.

love my PCP Dr. Malabika Dey But the rest of them stink! She's the only reason I stay a part of it . Then the poor lady can't even do her own hiring for staff . She's had some real doseys in the past . This has to hurt her business and isn't right at all .
I'm Definitely not a fan of being in the hospital but when I was younger they helped me out and they also helped a friend of mine when he was in so I recommend umass on lake Avenue
The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing and nobody has any connections nobody talks from one person to another this place is so screwed up it’s ridiculous
