3 hrs in a waiting room is not efficient. It's an emergency room you would think they could have more doctors with all the useless employees standings around doing nothing. just from the people working in triage the bedside manner in this place is horrible.

I see Dr. Carolina Ionete at the UMASS MS Center. I met her when a research study that8 had begun at Strong Hospital in Rochester,NY was transferred to UMASS: when my family move to Massachusetts 2008. we have our daughter NICU unit and we are blessed that the department treated us very well and very caring and tender to each and every child in the unit it's a heartbreaking sight to see but at the same time it's heartwarming to see the people involved in the unit they work as one and one of the best staffs I've been around I have to give kudos each and every person who's here and we thank each and every person in the NICU unit for the treatment provided to our daughter and we appreciate it dearly and for that we thank you ... read more

For 9 years of my life, UMASS became like home to us. The care my dad received was phenomenal and the compassion from 7ICU we received the morning he died was truly comforting. I can’t thank the doctors and nurses for all that they did for him. I strongly recommend UMASS for even your most complicated and delicate medical care. You couldn’t be in greater hands.
Careful with the payment process, for a clinical visit that was already been payed for by my insurance they mas denme pay it again, then send it to collecting company that isn’t even described on the bill, I ended up paying the full price with the discount (this was the final price $1638.00 then after the payment was done and they confirmed my payment was complete and gave me a receipt they ended up charging me an extra 500$ for physician services that I had proof that was paid for.
