Several months ago I had ******* senior stylist at Ulta hi light my hair. I told her heavy blonde hi lites. That was the color of my hair. She never did a sample patch test to check the product on my hair. She asked me if she could use a razor to cut my medium length hair. I told I I never had a razor cut before but she was the senior stylist and I trusted her judgement. She also suggested thinning my hair out because it was a little thick. limit to ONE payment for online purchases - meaning if you have multup,e gift cards or combination gift card and credit card. - You CANT buy online unless you spend an hour with their customer service to merge the gift cards into one**** what a snake of a company!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is awful! My package was delivered to the wrong address, the wrong state even! They wont refund my money or resend the items its bull! I will never shop here again and I will use my social media influence to let EVERYONE and their brother know, not to shop at this store that has terrible customer service!

Ulta Beauty does not care about their customers. If you do not receive a package they will just side with the shipper and not refund you or try to ship the product out again, so you are basically just scammed if there is any issues with their delivery methods. I live in a huge apartment complex and because the driver for ontrac shows they were in my complex with about 200 + different apartments that it shows delivered. I would give zero stars if I could. I placed an online order because the local Ulta store only had travel sizes in stock and I want full sized bottles of products. I ordered 1/16, was notified 1/17 that it had shipped. There has been no tracking update and no delivery as of 1/23. I have sent about a dozen emails to customer service, all of which are replied to with the same copy/paste form letters- be patient and understanding, sometimes the carriers tracking doesn't sync with ours but the packages still deliver eventually, ... read more

I ordered so many things in past 2 months with Ulta, approx over $500. Mostly in store orders. I placed an order for $44 online and it shows delivered when it hasn't. I reached out to customer service and they said they can't help and I need to call after 4 days later. I explained it was gift for someone and it is very important that I receive it. The representative kept saying they can't help me. Now that I am writing this review I see why Ulta has 1 star. For some consumers customer service matter more than product itself.... read more

I have been emailing customer service regarding an order placed on November 29th and it is now January 15th. Irecently sent out my 3rd email regarding this issue last week. It states on their website it's "awaiting carrier pickup" and ***** in customer service dismissed me by saying this issue has already been addressed. While you addressed it you never sent my package. At this time. I'll be taking I no my business to Sephora. I'll also make sure I encourage all my Co workers and friends, family to do the same.

I had gone to their physical store to return some items I didnt like. The first time I went, they told us they could not give any refunds for the returns. They could only give out store credit, which sounds extremely suspicious because what if I paid with cash? Also they had no issues ringing people up and charging credit cards for purchases so the systems were not down as they claimed. The Ulta located in ******, ** is the by far the worst Ulta Ive ever visited. About 6 months ago, I was went to exchange an item and the way security and the store manager kept following me was ridiculous. About 3 weeks ago, my mother wanted to run in and purchase a gift card (the same ****** location). I went with her and was browsing around and being stalked by security yet AGAIN.
