Had a two night stay at Two Hoots, absolutely cracking site. Was so nice to just to be able to hear the sound of the steam train during the day and the owl at night. Facilities are modern and very clean. Camp kitchen is such a nice touch, enjoyed the benefit of being able to use the ice machine.
From our welcome chat to the spotlessly clean facilities we can’t fault Two Hoots . The pitches are large with far reaching views. We stayed 3 nights, exploring the surrounding countryside by walking many miles.
A quiet peaceful campsite with the best facilities and hosts who are always very welcoming and friendly. Have been back to the site on a few occasions and will be returning again this year. Close to the Watercress Train Line a wonder way to spend the day travelling the trains.
Our first visit to Two Hoots did not go as we had planned due to external factors not relating to the campsite at all but Michelle was so amazing in ensuring we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the warmth of the sunset from behind the really protective covers on the pods, as the wind was tremendous! The sunset was beautiful and then the calm sunrise of the next day really showed off the views all around the site.
