This is regarding the Ontario, California office. Placed order and 1k deposit in September 2020. Took them 2.5 months to submit simple plans to the building department. Still no shed. This caused hardship to us as other projects, that depended on this shed to be in, have been delayed. I called to cancel and they refuse to refund my whole deposit. They seem to believe that I am being unreasonable to complain about 4 months after the order and no shed. Absolutely terrible customer service. Avoid this outfit.

It will be a year this spring (2021) since I ordered my shed. It was finally assembled after rescheduling a few times by Tuff Shed. The anchors were not brought to the job site and now 8 or 9 months later, I still wait for the anchors to be installed. I have kept on them by email since the job started. I get token emails back saying they are scheduling, but seldom, if ever, speak to anyone. The phone always goes to a voicemail, and never a return call. Horrible business. Poor materials. Poor workmanship. They promise you a 10 year warranty but, when the roof leaks less than two years later, due to a bad batch of shingles that keep tearing off, they are unwilling to address the problem. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS unless you want to be hiring your own contractor to fix it a year later.

We purchased our Tuff Shed through Home Depot in Richfield Utah, through the whole process from purchase through installation Tuff Shed kept us informed on dates and what to expect. The installers were very good and let us watch and answered questions we had. The few concerns we had were handled by Mike at the main office in Salt Lake City. I am 69 years old and dealing with Tuff Shed was the absolute worse customer experience I have ever had. I purchased my garage on July 28, 2020 and paid in full up front almost $11,000. I had to do all the permitting myself with no help from Tuff Shed at all. So this means survey,site plan, blueprints, foundation engineering plans etc. I had to obtain and provide to the Homeowners Association, Township and County for the necessary permit approvals. I had my shed installed in may 2020. Have issues with my door adjustment. Been working on this for over a month. It’s either weather, find a good date or no show. Today I was told it would be fixed today. Around 4:30 I’m called and told the couldn’t get in contact with contractor. Lost all faith in what I’m told.

Buyer beware. The sales department was very nice and professional however after they take your money you are on your own. Very disappointed in the building department. The first time they came out they had rotten wood they were trying to put up. We said no we are not paying over $8,000 for rotten wood. So they took it back then the next Saturday they were suppose to come out and never showed. 12/29/2020... Do not use Tuff Shed. It took 12 weeks to get my storage unit. I had to pay up front in full with upgrades. Building arrived without treated floor upgrade. Contractor was advised prior to construction of the problem. I was unable to contact tuff shed by phone, text and email. The contractor constructed the shed with untreated flooring and the contractors refused to stop the construction.
